The Golden Age of Hollywood and Modern Classics
Hungarians didn’t just found film studios in Hollywood; we can also find familiar names among the composers of the first major box office hits—such as the three-time Academy Award winner, Miklós Rózsa. Our concert is a selection spanning the great eras of film music, featuring scores that have rightfully become 20th and 21st-century musical classics in their own right. The music and the stories behind them will be introduced by the conductor of the evening, Máté Hámori.
Duration: approx. 110 minutes, including 1 intermission.
